Parents stand firm. You have the right to opt your children out of the SBAC field test and any other computerized surveys being foisted upon your children. Across Montana, Superintendents and Principals are bullying parents when they make an informed choice to opt out.
Worse yet, we are hearing about teachers and guidance counselors demonizing parents who have made that choice for their children. They are showing other parents that they better not opt their children out or they will receive the same treatment.
This bullying must stop!
As we know, this is the difference in worldview about whether parents are responsible for their children or that their children belong to the government. Exercise your parental rights. Share your stories with your friends and neighbors.
